"This was my first visit to The Taber Inne and Suites and I hope to return soon. It is a beautiful inn, run splendidly, with many amenities for guests. It felt like the echo of another era - where service, grace and friendliness were priorities.
From check-in to check-out, it was an amazing, too brief, stay. My room was large with a canopy bed, a jacuzzi in the bathroom, and walk-in shower. I was able to make use of the lovely indoor pool twice.

"Such a great experience! The complimentary breakfast was delicious, I just wish they changed up the breakfast items but overall delicious. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy and the hotel was pretty quiet. The front end staff were kind and pleasant."

"Beautiful property, the inside of the cottage has been wonderfully restored and updated. Amazing view of the lake from the room, can't wait to come back once the winery/taproom is open. Perfect distance from the casinos and Mystic for a weekend getaway, and the staff was super friendly and helpful"

"I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was at the Grand Pequot Tower! The lovely Fatima checked us in, and she was so friendly, kind, and professional. She asked if we had any preferences regarding our room, and we asked if we could possibly have a room near the fitness area, and she gave us the room right next to it!! That was amazing! and Watch Hill. Unfortunately restaurant is closed Mondays and Tuesdays so can not rate. There was a tavern 2 min. down the road so that wasn't a big deal. The continental breakfast was nice to have to start the day. We went during perfect summer weather but I'm sure this Inn is lovely anytime of the year!"

There are 2 beaches nearby and plenty of restaurants, some within walking distance. We did take an Uber over the bridge as well to our favorite restaurant that we found (The Fat Tuna). "Had a great stay at The Shore House - dog-friendly with a fee - came with a cute goodie bag of a toy, treat, paper bowl, and some poop bags.
Room was spacious and pretty design. Sink was a bit awkward as the faucet was too big/long for the sink tub. But overall, the room was very comfortable.
Location was perfect, great for walking the dog along the water, and a short drive to a dog friendly
