4/10 Fair

Unprofessional Management and Poor Customer Servic
I booked two rooms through Hotels.com – one for two people and one for three people – at different prices. However, when I checked in, I was given two rooms for two people each. I immediately notified the manager, but she claimed that the bed in one of the rooms could accommodate three people, even though it was barely big enough for two. When I showed her my booking confirmation clearly indicating two different room types, she blamed Hotels.com and said I should take it up with them. Instead of offering a proper solution, she suggested I take a full refund and look for another hotel – at 7 PM, no less. This was not only unprofessional but also highly inconvenient. Eventually, she offered me another room, but I had to pay extra for it. Since it was late, and my family was tired, I reluctantly accepted so we could rest. Throughout the interaction, I remained calm and tried to give her constructive advice on improving her customer service, but she dismissed it and insisted she had done her job well. This was my first experience with such an unhelpful hotel manager, despite having stayed at numerous hotels before. Sadly, it will also be my last time staying at this property.

Close to Shimbashi station, numerous eating options within 5- 15 min walking radius, hotel staff were very welcoming. Will be staying there again after our cruise. Easy to get on the JR line to Toyusu / Odaiba where our cruise ship is departing.

8/10 Very good

Overall very pleased with my stay. I was expecting a very small room from reading other reviews but a standard double room was just fine for me, it might have been a bit cozy if I had been sharing the room. I booked the breakfast and was given vouchers at check-in to be used each morning. It was very easy and the selection was good, though different to a typical breakfast spread I’m used to - lots of savoury options but toast and cereal were available. The room was clean and you have options for the level of housekeeping you want. The only problems with house keeping I had was finding a clump of hair just under the bed (when I dropped something that rolled under) and that by the end of my stay had a collection of towels and toiletries I didn’t need (they had been left when I requested no housekeeping). The hotel is conveniently located just 5 minutes walk from a metro and rail station and with the entrance in a quiet street but easy walking distance to several convenience stores, shops and restaurants. If you’re in the mood to walk it, Tokyo Station, the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Tower are about 30 minutes away, or 10 minutes on the metro. Staff on the front desk were helpful and happy to answer my questions and store my luggage on my last day so I could get in some last minute sightseeing. I liked the “buffet” of toiletries you could help yourself to as needed.

Location is great easy access to metro lines with plenty of restaurants around. Hotel is clean with very helpfull staff. The only issue we had was we were with a kid which the room and bed was very small for 3 people. Which made it very difficult, no room for suitcases. Apart fron this everything else was ok.
