Beautiful but a bit lacking
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the location is unsurpassed. I was disappointed by the lack of basic amenities. No bathmat, shampoo etc. were painful to pump out one drop at a time. (You couldn’t open the container to just pour it out) The alarm didn’t work and none of my wake up calls were made. The only usb port was on the alarm, and didn’t work. Silly things like this shouldn’t happen at an expensive hotel.

Very nice
Very nice hotel. Large, you can get lost on the property. Very nice hotel room. Close proximity to everything on the strip.

Wish the hotel would make it clear about upgrading to fountain-view rooms. After receiving an email from the hotel that it would be possible for a minor extra charge and confirming the extra charge would be ok, it was surprising to us that at check in it was a different story. Apparently, all fountain view rooms had already been allocated to guests that had checked in earlier and so it was not guaranteed. That was disappointing for us as we were celebrating our anniversary. We were placed in a room that had recently had the carpets cleaned and the carpet was still wet. We ended up paying more just to move out of that room with a wet carpet to a room with a strip view. For the amount we paid, we could have stayed at a suite at another hotel to celebrate our anniversary.
