Need management to step it up
Front desk staff is less than attentive. Needs many updates to the hotel. Only one lady in the food service was amazing. I believe her name was donna. The kids and adults running around with no shoes at breakfast was disgusting. Not one management came to say anything. The girls there were trying their best but the customers were very rude.

Stay away
Stay away. This place used to be “the place” to stay for a luxury/nice getaway. This place has gone downhill in the last 10 years. We got there and the pool was being refilled for sanitary purposes. We went in the pool the next day and the pool was cloudy and had a gross film on the top of it. Along with hair. The hallways and elevators smell like pot. And you can’t bring outside food into their ENORMOUS lobby of tables. You have to eat in your rooms. No rollaways for extra beds. The breakfast eggs were soggy and watered down. Don’t forget about having to pay for parking. Good thing we got a discount otherwise this stay would be a waste of money.

Won't Be Back
The hotel was dirty. On checkin, the refrigerator wasn't working and the bathroom sink clogged. Maintenance didn't respond to the refrigerator request; needed a second request. Elevators were dirty, and smelled of spilled drinks. Work out room dirty with kids playing in there and spilled snacks. Room walls were paper thin, and you could hear your neighbor's TV all night.

Holiday at the Embassy
Our 2 nights family stay was great at the Embassy Suites Lombard.. Hot breakfast every morning, clean pool and overall great atmosphere. The heat in my room wasnt working late at night on night one but back fine by morning. The staff offered extra blankets/duvet tp accommodate. They also gave a $25 gift certificate to use at the Hotel restaurant. Our Christmas hotel stay was great...

The service was nice. The condition of my room was below par, my tub was not draining so the shower was filling the tub as you washed which was gross. I asked the front desk for a new room and I was told no rooms were available. I was disappointed In the response. It was my honeymoon and we were given the worse room in the hotel.
