Birthday weekend in Glasgow
We were visiting Glasgow for the weekend to celebrate our son's 21st birsthday. The hotel is made up of a series of stunning traditional Glaswegian style houses. Really friendly welcome at reception and we were shown to our bedrooms (we had booked 3). All really comfortable and ours (Madfish!) was very big. The L'Occitene bathroom products very nice and a full length bath. We had booked the Whisky Snug for our private dinner for 10 people and the staff could not have helped more - great service with a smile. The standard of the food was incredible - coupled with some nice wines. One interesting point was that for the cheese plate, we were taking to select our cheese and given information by a knowledable cheese man!. Breakfast the following morning was a choice of either buffet or a la carte - as good as the dinner! Thank you to the team (and Jade who I organised everything with but did not meet!). We will definitely stay again

Exceeded even high expectations
Being Glasgow natives we've always known one Devonshire Gardens as the name associated with luxury in the area. But when we stayed for a night for my wife's birthday the hotel had no trouble living up to that reputation. The room was spacious, spotless and relaxing. Staff were attentive without being overbearing, and breakfast was delicious, varied and unhurried.

This property is in a lovely group of Victoria row houses featuring amazing two story stain glass windows and grand staircases. Our room was large, bright and very clean. Staff were helpful and service oriented. The lobby whiskey bar was a treat.

Wow! We loved staying here and enjoyed the ambience and the dinning experience. Our room was amazing even though I turned down an upgrade. Amazing location and in the morning we walked to Eusebi’s for coffee and Kelvingrove Park Art Gallery to view the Scottish Colourists in all their glory!
