This was a great value. I stay in Homestead on my way to and from the keys. This was my first stay here. It is very convenient right across from a Publix, CVS dining options. Room was clean and as advertised. Staff super nice. Not sketchy at all, no noise, parties etc. Exactly what I needed at a great price.

All staff was amazing. The 2 things I love the most about the Floridian is their beds and the breakfast on the weekends. Everything went smoothly except this one time the AC wasn't working too well. The room smelled amazing like oranges. Price for the room was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Not worth the cost
Sometimes trying to save money isn’t worth the cost. This place is near the bottom of budget hotels. It is old and smells like it. Check in was fine. The room was musty, but since it was late and we were staying only one night we decided to crash. The bed was so worn out it sank in the middle. Still we survived the night and left early. Breakfast was good: eggs, sausage, yogurt, lots of fruit. Then there was checkout. To get our deposit returned they insisted on doing a room check to make sure we hadn’t taken anything. (This alone should tell you about the quality of their guests.) After waiting the inspection we were told a hair dryer was missing. We certainly didn’t have it and I offered for them to search our car/luggage if they wished. To their limited credit, they let it go. I certainly would not recommend the Floridian. There are much better budget options in the area.

Phone and lights didn’t work at all. A/C and hot water barely worked! I asked for 2 rooms connected over 2 months before I stayed and yet rooms were on other side of hotel from each other. Continental breakfast my butt, what a joke! I would not recommend
