Best hotel stay in awhile
Super clean and spacious room. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I think the hotel manager even made an appearance in the morning at breakfast to see how everyone was doing. Breakfast had a pretty good variety.

Noisy "hotel improvements" during occupancy
Marriott chose to have "hotel improvements" occurring during my stay, rather than close the hotel for the time involved to replace the drapes in all the rooms, a noisy and frankly dirty project. In addition, the elevator was shut down from the first morning of my stay. I left early because of the weather, but was not sad to leave. Lastly, the photos of this place provided by Hotels. com were "enhanced" (by someone) to make the place look brighter and more welcoming that it in fact is. Rooms are plain and somewhat drab, and not improved by the new drapes, in my opinion.

Get it together…
Overall, everything was excellent- we had a couple of minor hiccups but the staff was helpful. Our accessible room did not gabs the type of shower wand we needed, but the staff moved us to a a different room. The breakfast had a lot of options, but items were lukewarm and ran low. The place was also under renovation. My grandson enjoyed the pool and hot chocolate station. I would give them another chance.

Do we start with gross, gummy-feeling carpet or the mildew filled bathroom? Do not let the updated lobby fool you into staying here, the rooms are in desperate need of an overhaul. And given what we paid per night, it was gouging in the worst way.
