Pros and Cons
We didn't come in with high expectations. We booked this hotel for it's location and price. Location is excellent, right on the beach. They include lounge chair and umbrella rental with your stay. The hotel is run down and service was slow. There were several times when we asked for towels or coffee and no one came. We were willing to pick up these items from the front desk but they didn't have any in stock. Housekeeping staff seemed to be overworked and lacked adequate supplies. (They were friendly but often didn't seem to have what they needed to replenish rooms.) The issues are something that needs to be addressed at the corporate level.

Decent hotel in great location
The rooms need updating, especially bathrooms. We had a suite that was 2 connecting rooms for 3 people, but only got 2 complimentary beach chairs and we had to pay for the 3rd —thought that was pretty stingy of the hotel. Especially because it wasn’t busy. The people at the front desk were friendly, though, and the hotel is in a great location.

Decent affordable oceanfront
Overall it was a good stay. Pros: Conveniently located. Waitstaff at restaurant was helpful. Bed was comfy. Ac worked great. Wonderful balcony. Beach chairs. Cons: Older building. Elevator inspection was over a year past due. Smaller bathroom-door hit toilet when opened, and when you turned on the faucet the handle hit the top of the sink shelf. Carpets in hallways were rippling. Hotel had an odor we didnt care for. Door to balcony was really hard to open.

Good location on the beach
I met my adult children in Miami for the holiday. This was my third time in Miami this year. I chose this hotel for the value and free breakfast which is important to me. The room was clean and breakfast was good. The staff was also pleasant and helpful. I’m not sure why the air freshener was on full blast but all went well and I may return.

A non-returning guest
My ocean view room did not have hot water, I was moved to a partial view room. The manager said both rooms are the same price and I would not get a refund. Even though I clear had different rooms and view. She yelled on the phone and told me I know anything and transferred me yelling” you won’t get nothing” so I’m the future I won’t be back and when you book verify you what kind of room you are getting.
