BEWARE: NOT LUXURY---more Comfort Inn at best!!
"Luxury " is an overstatement and you know that if you have had luxury stays.
This is still a motor court motel despite the remodel.
Upon check in we drove past the place. Right off the parkway, there is a privacy fence with open privacy gates. One end of the gate had what looked like a valet stand and that's what we thought it was. We drove past a string of shops to park and walk back to find the registration to check in. We walked into what appeared would be an office attached to the motel, but it was a pizza place. Continuing on down the motel we approached the "valet" and found out he was the check in. Weird because the temperature was near freezing and he was sitting there waiting for check ins. We felt bad for him. He checked us in and took us to the room. A standard king room on the small side, a window the length of the room with the nice river view. Noticed NO CURTAINS/shades. Not for privacy so much as wanting to sleep in after the long drive. We unpacked and showered, shared our disappointment. No iron or board we had to ask for one and they only had a steamer left. When the checking guy brought the steamer he said he had a room with shades. We packed up and moved rooms. Same size room smaller window and a toilet that wobbled🙄. Very small fridge for a 5 night stay and no microwave to bring leftovers back for later. The hvac worked better with the decorative grate removed but that took extra space in the room. For the price/day this place not worth $

It was located right on the main street (Parkway) in Gatlinburg. So everything was within walking distance. Yet, surprisingly, there was no traffic noise in the room. Very clean room which was remodeled only a few months ago. I would defintely stay here again.

We found fungus and insects in the room. We did notify the receptionist without any success. Would not recommend this hotel for a stay to anyone.
