This is our go to hotel for winter whale watching. We love the location, view from the third floor deck, and the friend and helpful staff. We can also leave our car in the lot and walk to all the shops and restaurants on the main stretch of 101 south of the hotel.

No AC!! Why not?!?? If you want to be hot, book this place! There are fans but you will melt into the bed. Sweaty sweaty stay. Great location and close to whale watching but sketchy surroundings. Additional pet fee and I asked to be charged at the location. When I arrived, they already charged me. He said it was “their policy”. I would not stay there again!

The travelogue is in walking distance to the little town of Depoe Bay. No bad view from your room. A older hotel with updates. Clean and smell good. Microwave and small fridge to help stay longer.

Lovely view from our room. Front desk customer rep. was very friendly and hospitable. Perhaps, it was a communication error, but upon returning back from our sight-seeingafternoon, room service was not completed. We only received clean towels. First visit to Depoe Bay and even on our final night,after suffering a broken leg from a fall in town, we just may visit again.
