Excellent hotel with friendly staff
I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Irapuato several times over the past few years when I visit my relatives. It is a very modern, clean hotel, with a good restaurant for breakfast or lunch. The rooms are very large and comfortable and always very clean, with nothing ever missing (like towels and other supplies). The staff are - without exception - always very polite and friendly. There is shopping within walking distance. I really enjoy staying here and will continue to do so in future visits to Irapuato.

Not so Holiday Inn
This location is definitely not like most Holiday Inns I've stayed at. For the area, the room prices are high and the amenities are terrible. The lobby appears to have been renovated recently but little or no attention was paid to the rooms. If you're travels take you to Irapuato, I'd suggest a different hotel. The only real perk is the secure underground parking.

Not so Holiday Inn
The night I was there a room with drunk people one floor below me were making a lot of noise. I complained to the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do. Management asked if I wanted to change my room. At 1:30 AM, I decided not, but an hour later, I did because they noise from the room got worse. I was being inconvenienced because I was being quiet. I then asked the front desk for a free breakfast coupon as some form of compensation for being inconvenienced. They seemed annoyed by my request. I would not return to this hotel if I ever find myself back in Iraputao. Another reason I would not return is the hotel is expensive for the area and the rooms are very outdated. The first floor was probably renovated recently. I was very disappointed with this hotel.

Noisy rooms
They room they give me the 6th floor was noisy due to central AC. I complained and they changed the room for me in the same floor. The noise was reduced, but it was stil not comfortable to sleep! The train track is close the hotel. So you can hear the train and it is annoying!

Friendly staff, large clean rooms.
Great hotel that has everything you need for a business trip. The room were large, the food was good the staff were friendly and courteous. The hotel was a bit far from the center, but was close to a few malls. The area around was not inviting for walks, but that was not my reason for going to Irapuato.

Poor WiFi connection with Cold Shower on top
Very poor WiFi connection, unless you decide to stay late at night or early morning... It is not suitable for serious business traveler. Also, I suffered Cold morning Shower on 2nd night of stay. It is bad, since hotel staffs are very good.

Flood in the bathroom
The level of the floor in the shower room is higher than that of the floor of the bathroom. No door nor bath tub is there. The curtain doesn't keep water from pouring out of the shower room. Inevitably the bathroom after taking shower gets soaked. How is it possible that the constructor or designer made the shower room that way. Unbelievable.
