The absolute best
I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels in my lifetime, in many countries. This is my first ever review. Bellustar is without a doubt the nicest hotel I have yet to stay at. Ever. The view alone is worth the price of admission - the lowest hotel floor being 39. The hotel is only one year old so everything is ultra modern. There are only about 90 rooms. I give this hotel absolute top marks even though I did not even use the club lounge, the spa, the gym or the restaurants (book early). There is a cafe for guests only and the coffee is fantastic - special thanks to Costas for Tokyo information and advice. All staff speak good to fluent English if that is a concern

8/10 Very good

I didn't like the noise, the police and ambulance siren, and the train track sound is very noticeable even on the 39th floor. I needed a noise cancelling headphone to be able to sleep.

We stayed one night. I appreciate the hotel staff being very understanding and trying their best to ensure our comfort. They all speak good English and all were very helpful. We enjoyed the beautiful view out of the full wall windows. This seems to be the tallest building in the area so the feeling was like the whole city at one glance. The room is big and new. The bathroom has separate shower and bath. The supplies in the bathroom is detail oriented and satisfying. The breakfast buffet on 17th floor was nice with some Japanese food touches. So many good experiences and will definitely visit again.

Pick up car could only stop at B3, not the ground floor main entrance, very inconvenient.

We opted for two corner rooms to share between our family of four. Both were incredibly beautiful and luxuriously appointed with unparalleled views from 40 stories up over Shinjuku. The area is known for its nightlife but if you’re not looking for trouble it’s completely safe and there are tons of restaurant and bar options for every budget around. An incredible hotel in the middle of probably our favorite city. Definitely looking forward to the next chance to come back!

This is my first hotel review on Expedia. I’m a spoilt (and very picky) traveler having stayed at the most luxurious hotels worldwide both for business and leisure. Having said that, Bellustar hotel has far exceeded all my expectations and even Ritz and Astoria pale in comparison with the service, amenities, central location, impeccable food options and ambience. 10 out of 10 experience. The check in at the room without a hustle of doing it at the lobby after a long flight has added a special extra touch. I would highly recommend this hotel equally to solo, business and family travelers coming to Tokyo. Thank you to the staff for making my stay special.
