Stayed at this lodge after seeing it from the road last year. It was cozy. Definitely dated. One of our rooms, the door wouldn’t stay closed. But the staff were friendly.

The room we had was soooo stinky, we had to leave the windows open for the whole night otherwise we couldn’t breathe. The walls between the rooms are like paper thin and you can hear the TVs next door also hear people’s voice very clear all time, had no sleep at all.

Our first trip to Georgetown
We arrive late night with two dogs on a four-year-old. They had a little trouble finding a reservation, but worked on it until it was discovered! Got us in and slept well. Greeted by friendly staff in the morning for breakfast.

Although our room faced the interstate, we didn't hear any of the traffic. Nice room. Breakfast area was huge and waffles were very tasty. Receptionist was very nice and helpful. Expedia was supposed to have changed our reservation to 2 double beds, but it didn't happen. The receptionist was willing to give us 2 rooms for the price of one, but we declined her offer since this is their busy season and we didn't want them to take the hit for a second room. Now that I am home, I will go thru my paperwork and look for reservation for 2 rooms and find out if Expedia will compensate for this.
