Amazing stay

Tivoli Hotel

Stayed as a family of 4. Great location. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Staff were very welcoming and nothing was an issue. Hop on hop off bus station outside of hotel and plenty of taxis waiting outside hotel if needed. Highly recommend this hotel

Very good hotel

Very good hotel in a decent location. Rooms were cleaned and well appointed. The AC in my room wasn’t particularly great which resulted in the window being left open. This meant the train tracks directly behind the hotel interrupted sleep unfortunately. Fantastic breakfast though and some nice bars and restaurants.

Disappointing

Unfortunately, the front desk staff was really rude which made my first impression terrible. The hotel is huge with lots of rooms each flor and it’s difficult to get a seat for dinner. Far from everything. Really don’t recommend.

Amazing hotel and thanks for the fantastic upgrade

What an amazing hotel and amazing staff. I am a gold reward member and I know you occasionally get upgraded but I got upgraded from a standard room to the best room in the hotel (Corner Suite). It was amazing (nearly as big as my house) and had a massive jacuzzi bath and great views of the harbour! The staff seemed really pleased to do so (the one who did it said its the biggest upgrade he's ever done!) The hotel facilities were amazing too (the pool is fabulous) and the breakfast is one of the best ever.......highly recommended even if you don't get an upgrade!

The hotel is in generally good condition; however, the standard of cleanliness was far below expectations. During my four-day stay, my room was not serviced even once—no cleaning, no change of towels, no vacuuming, and the bed was left unmade. Additionally, the carpet was noticeably dirty. The breakfast was also underwhelming and did not meet the standard one would reasonably expect from a hotel in this category, particularly given the price level. Considering the overall experience, there are other hotels in the area that offer significantly better value for money.

Green light.....

Room was smaller than expected but understandable as it's a conference hotel where you're not expected to spend too much time in the actual room. Key issue was a large LED green light set up shining all day and night into the room from the base of the outside of the window. This made the overall stay experience quite disconcerting and not enjoyable especially at night. The lights cannot be individually turned off so it was just ON ...ALL THE TIME.

During our stay we had a really bad experience with the temperature in the room which was between 18 and 19 degrees during those days, which is way too cold. I called to the reception twice for help, they said they will send someone to the room but nobody came to help. We had to sleep with our clothes on because of the cold. I think this is below the standard of a hotel such as Tivoli hotel, I had more expectations than this. Especially considering the price I paid for the room. I will attach a video showing the temperature and how I tried to turn up the heat with no good result.

Champagne image on a lemonade offering

I chose to stay at the 4.5* Tivoli hotel, as opposed to some of the cheaper value neighbours because of the VIP status and strength of quality that it showed in the property details and reviews. Unfortunately this hotel is a long way of 4.5* and is not worth the additional cost. Located 15 minutes walk from Copenhagen Central Station, it is well located for the City and the shopping mall nearby. However the hotel itself feels to be holding onto a former glory it is no longer living in. The room I was in had a nice view, however it was very loud from a nearby fan or very noisy unit. The bed linen had a rip in, the towel was dirty, the mattress is very worn and squashed out (see photos) and I had to call maintenance as my sink was blocked, something housekeeping would have noticed when preparing the room but chose not to get resolved. Housekeeping has to be requested, which is strange for this calibre of hotel. There is no turndown service and no robes for the pool. The 20% discount for food and drink voucher was not offered upon check in and I had to go to ask for it- at which point I decided not to spend any more money in this establishment. It’s a champagne image on a lemonade budget. There are plenty more hotels available which I would suggest are much better value.

Ett modernt hotell som upptar ett helt kvarter. Executive lounge med tillgång till dryck och snacks var uppskattat. En sur gubbe i lounge personalen men också två otroligt positiva och serviceminded i frukostpersonalen är Mostafa och Kate som gjorde att helhetsbetyget blev högt för vår vistelse.
