Delightful Accademia Pensione in Dorsoduro
The Accademia/Maravege is a delightful family-run historic Pensione that has been cosily modernised in a good convenient location in the Dorsoduro area near the Accademia Bridge vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal - with many excellent local restaurants! The staff are very attentive and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and well-furnished, and the breakfast selection is good and tasty. It also has a lovely front patio and rare courtyard garden. Highly recommended.

Beautiful historic hotel!
Very special beautiful old world hotel in a perfect location! They were kind enough to find us a bigger room with more windows and a fabulous view after our first night. Lovely breakfast each morning. Would stay here again next time in Venice! Loved it!!

We took a water taxi from the airport dropped us off in front of our hotel. Also water bus is close by very important if you have luggage.. quite with two outside areas you can relax. The hotel is so cute staff wonderful would stay here again..

What a beautiful hotel! We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Venice. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is gorgeous, but we also loved our room! We had a lovely canal view with an ocean breeze and a very comfortable bed. The room was filled with beautiful furniture. It even had a Murano glass chandelier! We enjoyed the bar area near the lobby where there are evening snacks and you can order cocktails as well. The location was very walkable to all points of interest as well as amazing restaurants. What an enchanting place.

It was relatively quiet compared to being on the grand canal though we could see the latter from our window and we were near everything.The rooms were lovely, the breakfast had many interesting food choices and the staff were great. 10/10 recommend this property! It’s such a hidden gem in the perfect area. So quiet but also in walking distance to many restaurants and historic sights. We will definitely stay here again if/when we return to Venice in the future! The gardens both in the front and back are stunning and so relaxing. You feel like you have your own little oasis in the hot city. Breakfast is great, service is superb, rooms are a throw back into the past. Spring for a bigger room with the view of the canal and gardens you won’t be disappointed!
