We stayed here about a month ago and ended up being told that the hotel doesn’t deal with refunds for the inadequate quality of our stay there, and to email a specific email. Didn’t even get a reply to the email sent. Which was thorough and explained our full situation. We were accompanied by two disabled elderly companions and the rooms were; dirty, uncomfortable, stuffy, hot, and rusted in the bathroom. To the point where we left after the first night. We only asked for a partial refund but got no reply we were basically told it wasn’t their problem and the only way to even make a complaint was through this email, not even a reply. Our own room me and my partner, was also dirty, towels didn’t smell properly washed, bed had a massive dip to which my partner didn’t sleep. Tried to have a bath and there was no plug, dust scattered all over the place. Only saving grace was the barman on the night shift who let us drown our sorrows having to stay in the dingy state. Apart from the the place is a joke as a business in the centre of Peterborough, and I accommodating to the disabled tenants who stayed there. We didn’t even get to attend the event we came down for as my grandad was sent sick from the stay in their room and was subsequently sick for at least a week after. Absolutely no excuse for this and the business obviously needs an owner who gives a damn about it, as I’m sure a vacuum and a dust pan isn’t too much to pay for. Thank you.
