Two night stay
Good location! Was able to drop our bags off before check in time. Free breakfast available and tea and coffee making facilities was at the end of the corridor shared bathroom out side of rooms plenty available so didn’t have to wait for them. 15 minute walk to Lisberg which is amazing and botanical garden nearby which had goats and chickens.

You should properly mention that there is no parking available by the property. For a first timer coming to Sweden it’s hell to find a parking at night. And when that person has no clue of the parking system. Doesn’t know what parking app is being used too. Plus you should also mention clearly that the washrooms and showers are communal. And it should be named a youth hostel not B&B. As the breakfast is not what you expect in a B&B

Pleasantly surprised by how clean, comfortable, and quiet this basic hotel was despite being just off a main street. The shared bathrooms were kept very clean and there was never a wait. Blinds didn't work as well as blackout curtains so would recommend eye masks if visiting in the summer!

Gothenburg visit.
Comfy three night stay. Our room had a window view of the street, twin room. Shared Bathroom across the hall always kept clean, no issues. Quiet in the hotel at night. Very central located so can walk. There is a bar down below and we did find this noisy even if window closed. Our room was a bit hot in the arvo as sun came through so would not like that in summer and blinds do not keep it out or the light. Windows had to be open at night so yes very noisy, but I slept ok on and off. Windows need full blackout curtains and air con increased or a fan. Brekkie good and tea and coffee station on floor five. Very much appreciated. Staff great and very friendly.

5 star service from Marcus!
Great location, comfy/clean room (for the most part), and very good value. Also, strong wifi and very basic (but tasty) breakfast. Marcus was super professional and welcoming at check in. Even provided a room fan when requested and was always there if I needed anything. A true first class employee! Only complaints are the noise and music outside on the streets (bring ear plugs), and there was a nasty black hairball next to the shower drain (I’m bald so it wasn’t mine) and long black hairs on the towels. Not sure how this was missed, but I encourage whoever cleans the rooms to double check their work and not to leave something so obvious for new guests to discover. Quite gross. But absolute best wishes to this property and if they can fix the couple of cleanliness issues, I would definitely recommend.

6/10 Good

As stated in a previous review, great value, but..
.....Only if you're not a light sleeper. My review is based on room 17 and perhaps other rooms are better. Positives: Comfortable beds and bedding Great location for Ullevi stadium, where the big concerts are held. Great location for Liseberg Amusement park. Just off possibly the main street. Negatives: (based on room 17) Noisy room, due to ventilation noise Light room, due to broken blinds No sink/faucet in the room. Heavy sleepers on a budget though should love this property as it is great value in the city for such a well placed hotel, but perhaps ask for a different room if you're a light sleeper wishing to stay in a single room and maybe your sleep will be much better than mine.

Mixed review, but based on room 17
Mixed review, and based on room 17. I'll start with the positives: Great location for Ullevi stadium concerts, Liseberg amusement park, restaurants and just very centrally placed for all I wanted to see and do. The bedding was comfortable and this would have been a great deal in light of Coldplay playing to 60k fans nearby. Now the negatives: The blinds were broken and with very see through curtains and the time of year, it was a very light room once daylight broke. The vent in the room was making a terrible sound all night. I woke up during the first night thinking I could hear police sirens in the distance and was listening to the sound for maybe a hour because I thought chaos and disorder had broken out in the city. I had had a late night though as I continued out after the concert and i'd mostly forgotten about it the next morning. The second night, I could hear the sounds all night again, only this time I traced it to the vent near the door. It sounded like an old computer game loading from a cassette, mixed with other noises like a dialing tone, sirens etc. I filmed this on my phone both from the corridor (where it was silent), to inside the room, where it was noisy (and driving me mad) and gave me a very poor night of broken sleep after the previous poor night of sleep. So the light and noise issues are 2 very poor combinations for a light sleeper and had I known what to expect, I would have stayed elsewhere, even if it would have cost twice as much.
