The hotel and staff are nice! Staff was attentive and friendly. Amenities were enjoyable. Not having microwaves in the rooms was a bit of an inconvenience. Overall, good stay!!

We have stayed at this property for many years, but have found that the hotel rooms/lobby/breakfast has been declining. We stay in the suite for added room but it really does need to be updated/repaired. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell and the doors rotting. Overload of people in the pool late at night, and very loud. People coming in the side doors no security to check if they were hotel guests. The smell of marijuana strong in the halls. The continental breakfast needed help-no one to refill anything. I am sorry to see this as it was a beautiful hotel and our favorite for years.

First of all I do not know how this property received an excellent rating. It was & is very deceiving. I was in Room 335 & there was a whole lot of noise coming from the 4th floor. I called to the front desk and Ron answered. He was very professional & stated they will take care of it. While I waited, the noise increased. I called back down to the front desk and his co-worker, I forgot her name, answered. I explained to her about the noise situation and asked if I can be moved. She said yes & asked if she can put me on hold. I said yes, I waited on the phone more than 2 minutes. I disconnected & gathered ALL of my things. I proceeded down to the front desk. When I arrived, I ask her if I can now have my room moved since I was in her face. She claims she did return to line but I was not there. That was because I disconnected. We were about to go back and forth in regards to what took place over the phone. This type of behavior calls for some customer service refresher as well as phone etiquette. This is the worst Hilton experience that I have ever had. I am a Hilton Honor member but I chose to do Expedia but that should not matter. I was fully refunded my money and stayed for the night. There was still noise from my new room in 138 & complained again which did not really help. I will not return and no you cannot have another chance to try again. You should have done it right the first time. This more about how the employee handle the situation than the noise.

The nasty smell from the bathroom was noticeable as soon as you enter the room. Bathroom looked clean but smell was terrible probably because of poor air circulation, lack of cleaning supplies used, and/or backed up sewer. It was not pleasant, good thing that I was tired and didn't suffer a long time.
