I love this kind of place. Yes, it could use some updating, but you wouldn't want to take away its charm. The location is beautiful.

Great stay!
We had a great stay. It was only for one night and we arrived late, but the checkin was quick and easy. We were given great information about the area and also a menu for the restaurant across the road. Which I will say is delicious! The view is beautiful and the room was simple, but very clean! We will definitely stay here again in the future.

The facility is older and basic, but it was clean and well-maintained. The staff was great, the restaurant was excellent, and the view was outstanding.

Convenient, clean, nice location. Great host at store…friendly and responsive. Would like to see fridge and microwave in rooms. Store does not open until 9.00 am which is inconvenient . 8.00 am would be better. Thx

Great hotel by the lake. The staff are excellent. The rooms are large and very comfortable. We also had a balcony from which we were able to enjoy a fabulous sunset over the lake.

I love staying here, the view is unbeatable. There is a easy 2 minute walk to one of the coolest giant trees I’ve ever seen. The resort is over 100 years old and has vintage charm for sure, it’s funky but clean and comfy and a awesome location. There is a coffee maker in the room, no fridge or microwave which is fine for me. There is a microwave and a decent selection of frozen / pre made options in the store / lobby from 9am-9pm. The restaurant across the street is AWESOME, and the loop drive around the lake is a great way to spend a couple of hours soaking in the views, water falls and wildlife. Ian at the front desk is a very helpful / kind local with a super adorable little dog that will likely be your welcoming committee lol. I’ve stayed here 3 times and plan on making it at least a annual thing

Lake Quinault is such a special place. The view, the hiking and just experiencing the beauty of the Olympic National Park is indescribable. The food at the Salmon House, on site restaurant is delicious, cooked to perfection and the service and view wonderful.

2/10 Poor

Disgusting!
Where did all these good reviews come from??? This place is truly disgusting. There have not been any updates since the 1960's. Seriously, the carpet is that old. When we walked in, there was an overwhelming smell of air freshener. I later realized that it was to mask the moldy smell from the carpet. I realize this is a remote location, but $185/night? The restaurant is just OK with a very limited menu: salmon, salmon, salmon, and spaghetti. The area is beautiful and well worth a visit, just bring a tent instead.

Family trip.
I stayed here several times. It’s always cozy. The rooms are dated but that’s my favorite part. The view of the lake is so beautiful. I would recommend a room with a view. It’s a short drive to see the ocean. The restaurant is a nice place for a meal. I will definitely be back.

Quiet and peaceful stay with view of the lake. Second time staying here and staff is always friendly. We had a delicious dinner at The Salmon House just next to the resort and enjoyed all the nearby walking trails. Loved our stay!
