It is a dated motor lodge, but clean and comfortable! We just slept there so what more would you want!

Room was very clean and comfortable. Was quiet and nobody bothered us. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If we ever need a room for a baseball tournament again that will be the place

It was dated, but was clean and quiet. Owner was very helpful! Thank you for a nice stay.

Nice little stay
It's a very nice place. If you need a nice bed and a decent spot to relax for the evening (or however long your stay), then this is the place. It's 2 minutes walk from the edge of everything downtown. Pretty quiet. It was a nice spot that did the job I was hoping for during my overnight.

it was ok
It was a decent place to stay and got a good night's sleep. Lacking in some items like no coffee in room and bars of soap were too small to bath with. people were friendly.

This is a very nice, clean, but basic budget motel. It is independently owned and run by a family, and they do a very good job of keeping the rooms clean, comfortable and in good condition. They have renovated it well, the bathrooms are in notably good shape. Amenities are limited, the room has a TV and refrigerator. There is nothing in the way of things like complimentary coffee setup, shampoo, (soap and disposable plastic cups are provided, )etc. and there is no ice machine on premises that I could find. Given the budget price, this did not bother me, I have stayed here twice and it was good both times, I carry a cooler and get my own ice. I'll stay here again the next time I'm in Coshocton.

Retro look and feel, but clearly very well maintained. ( Grout in shower nice and white), no peeling paint on shower ceiling. Slight musty smell.

Terrible
The place was disgusting. My husband and I felt so uncomfortable that we left shortly after checking in. We opted to go back to the fairgrounds and sleep in our truck. We felt much safer.

Tha room and bathroom decor was definitely dated. The outlets were so pleasant the my cell phone brick would not stay in it. The room was dimly lit due to lights being burnt out.

For the price i expected the property to not be up to date. But i did not expect the area and the motel itself to feel so unsafe. There were clearly addicts that live at the property and sketchy people wandering around. Made for a rough nights sleep and i feel this property should not be an option on Expedia

The air /heater never turned on. The bed mattress was covered in a very thick plastic so definitely no bedbugs but it was a very stiff sleep.

Ok in a pinch
The hotel is ok for the price. They allow pets and their pet fee is extremely reasonable. It could definitely use some updates since it looks identical to the last time i stayed there over 15 - 20 years ago. Our power went out and the manager was accommodating by switching us to another room. She was very nice during our stay. The cleanliness of the room was sub par, however. There were stains and hairs on the bedsheets indicating they're not being cleaned regularly. The fridge wouldn't chill and we lost all of our food. If you can take a shower in two minutes you'll be fine, otherwise you'll be drowning in arctic waters for the remainder of the time.

Helen was very very kind and welcoming!!! The one major change as it gets cold is to let guest know the heat will SLOWLY come on. Not so good: 1. Telephone cords were a tripping hazard!!! 2. Blanket could be kept in the room? 3. Blanket has cigarette holes. 4. MOLD MILDEW IN FRONT OFFICE SHOULDN’T BE. HELEN OR OTHERS WHO MANAGE THE FRONT OFFICE SHOULD NOT BE BREATHING BAD AIR!!! Please correct the mildew MOLDY issue !!!

2/10 Poor

Requested nonsmoking…the room reeked of cigarettes. Supposed to have free Wi-Fi…no password was given and the was no password to be found in the room. The room was ice cold when I arrived so I had to hang out in my coat while I waited for the heater to warm it up. The bedding really didn’t look the cleanest. If I wasn’t exhausted and hadn’t just driven 6hrs after a long day of work, I would have absolutely gone elsewhere for accommodations. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.

Just don’t….
For health and safety reasons, this place shouldn’t be allowed to operate. We’re pretty sure there was blood on the ceiling in our room. The carpet was filthy. Unfinished patch jobs in the walls and broken outlet in the bathroom. Our reservation was for a king room and upon check in when I informed the person at the front desk about our dog, his wife told him to put us in a queen room. We were charged king price and was given a queen. The man at the desk said he’d bring a coffee pot to our room, and when he did, he knocked on the door and OPENED OUR ROOM DOOR! Did not wait for us to answer. The sugar and creamer packets were so old, the creamer had caked inside the packet. Mattress was so old, we were sleeping on the springs. Torn sheets. Cigarette burned blankets. This place got one star because giving a negative star rating wasn’t an option.
