Happy with the stay
Hotel manager was very kind to let us check in early. We only intended to deposit our bags with the hotel before checking in and then visit elsewhere first, but was pleasantly surprised to be allowed early check in and enjoyed the room earlier as there was available room. I’ll try a different place next time.
The hotel is nice and in a great location. This was my second stay here. Great room, nice bed, quiet, fast elevators. I didn’t care for the slow flow water purifier that substituted for bottled water. The service wasn’t great. My room safe had an issue and it took too long to send someone to fix it. That made me late for breakfast. Then the hotel breakfast where they charge 39 dollars, the man tried to seat me at a dirty table shared with total strangers! I refused it and voiced how insulted I was. I could not believe that. The breakfast wasn’t worth the 39 dollars; okay but not great. I will try a different hotel next time.

Short holiday for the Mrs and I. This hotel is in an excellent location. Lots of food choices below in the basement food court as well as a regular food court in the upper level. Sits atop the Raffles Place MRT station. From here to anywhere! Also easy for taxi / rideshare pickup at the lobby and affordable rental car parking overnight in the Mall's parking garage. Our only negative comment was that the room's toilet had trouble flushing and the water kept flowing from the tank into the bowl. Had to call the plumbers in twice and they finally fixed it. It was fine for the rest of the stay. Will definitely stay there again!

It was my first time staying at Swissotel, and upon arriving, Amelia checked me in. She was kind and asked if it was my first time in Singapore (it wasn't), but it was my first time in the hotel. She kindly joked it will be the best experience at this hotel. My reservation had one room, but had two twin beds. I preferred one king as I was there on a conference. Keep in mind it was F1 weekend as well, so it was extremely busy. So I challenged her with "you said this will be the best experience, I know its F1 weekend, but is there a miracle that there is a room available with 1 King bed instead of two wins?" Within <10 minutes she made it happen, and I couldn't believe it. To the amazing staff, and especially Amelia, thank YOU so much for making my trip pleasant and comfortable after a long flight.

The hotel is centrally located in an area with a mix of colonial and modern buildings. The hotel is modern and the staff polite. The room was spacious by Singapore standards with comfy beds and a good shower. The balcony was great to catch a glimpse of the F1.
