Took granddaughters to kc for spring break knowing everything to do had closed. However, the hotel had an indoor swimming pool and fitness center with very few guests that we encountered. Wish there was a hot tub though. They did have a very limited breakfast, more like continental without cereal.

Closed Balcony
This was a really clean place. I do wish the balcony doors would have opened. They are all screwed shut. I would of loved the fresh air.

Bad hotel
This was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. I will never use them again. Unsafe, unclean, and unhelpful staff.

Clean, but avoid being placed next to the pool.
I travel frequently for work and fun and I'm always on the look out for great deals on hotels. Best Western Premier seemed like a great place to stay in Kansas City. While the room was clean, this was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. First, checking in took nearly half an hour because the clerk was making people write down all of their information before handing it to her. She failed to tell me where my actual room was, and did not mention when or where breakfast was or where we needed to park. Second, our room key kept malfunctioning and we had to get it reissued EACH time we needed into the room. Third, our room was on the recreation level near the pool and elevator. There is absolutely NO soundproofing on this floor. This was problematic when on our second night starting at 9pm and carrying on well after 3am there was a pool party complete with amplified voices (yelling and laughing) and loud music. Not being truly annoyed by this until after 1am, there was no phone in the room to call the desk and ask them to address the issue, nor did anyone answer when we called from our cells, and there was no one at the desk when we went up to ask in person (around 2am). At a loss for what else to do, I asked that the people in the pool area would please be considerate of those sleeping on this floor and was told to "fuck off"... I could seriously go on, but this was by far just a terrible experience. Do yourself a favor, pay the extra money and never stay here.

Great Hotel
I always enjoy when im at this hotel. Although the name has changed, its still the same nice and clean place. The staff was very helpful. I was locked out of my room for a while due to the keypad malfuntioning but they were helpful every step pf the way..

Disappointing
The property looked very nice the lobby was clean and comfortable. All off the staff had exceptional customer service, everyone I encountered was friendly, and very helpful and accommodating.. The issues I had was the condition of the property. When we arrived our room had no refrigerator, I went to the website to make sure it was included before I went to the front desk. They lady at the desk apologized and had housekeeping bring up one very quickly, then we noticed the heating unit had huge gaps in it and had cold air pouring in from the outside.. when the heat was on, it was to hot, but when we turned down it got cold quick because it was like a window was open. We had to wrap towels, and pillows around the unit to keep the cold air out. But also had to keep the unit in the 50,s to get the heat to turn on.. it was sooo cold by the unit it would kick on in the 50,s.. Then after a long day we planned to spend the evening at the pool, but the pool area was Freezing... I went to ask if the heat could be turned on, but again the lady at the desks was very nice and apologized. She said the furnace was out and was scheduled for a repair, but the water should be warm .. The water, wasn’t warm.. I chose not to get in, but my husband said getting out of the pool into a room that was 60 degrees was was brutal. Overall the staff made up for the condition of the property but, it put a damper on our weekend.

Lipstick on a pig
I will say the staff was very nice but the was about it. The room had a huge door and window that you can feel cold air gushing in and then the heater was crazy hot and the thermostat was broke or something. So you would get really hot then really cold... entire hotel smelt like pot. Then a bunch of drunk kids got into a fight in the hallway and was screaming for an hour. Was ridiculous! Breakfast was fine and lobby was very nice. Not my favorite hotel stay....
