2/10 Poor

Never again
The beds were lumpy the bathroom let’s just say I hope you don’t need a shower turned the water on it was brown tub didn’t drain with what water was ran for about 30 minutes and then the sludge left in the tub from that water running was awful I swiped my finger through it so it could be seen that it was not stained

Stay away from here!
Gross overpriced hotel on side of Highway. Not close to anything in town or walkable. Rooms filled with bugs. No amenities. Dirty towels and sheets. Property very dirty with trash everywhere. Not worth the money.

The room was dated and should probably be upgraded soon. The breakfast is something you should not look forward to.

I would stay at this hotel again. I only spent one night there, but I can see that they are trying to improve the hotel. The landscaping/roses were beautiful.
Dennis K, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

This was the worst hotel I ever stayed at and I would not let my dogs stay there. It was very dirty dirty rags and soap in the bathroom the bed had dog hair on the sheets and the mattress cover had a big brown stain on it the bathroom tub was Rusty and the rooms smelled horrible.

Happy Pup!
We enjoyed our long weekend stay at this Econo Lodge mainly because of the Very Friendly people. The room was clean. The hotel is old but they are working on it. We had our pup with us and she really liked the people! We look forward to our next opportunity to stay with them.
Nancy, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

good for stop
Jian, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

I will start with the positive — extremely friendly staff (possibly owner). Now, the negative — dirty linens (grass and sand in sheets), mattress was so soft, I felt I was sleeping in a hammock, white chunks of drywall repair materials on floor throughout room, rusty bathrooms fixtures, tub stained with rust, AC smells of mold while running, loud with road noise, water is orange (rust), pool has no water/drained/out of service, outdated to point that whole property should be torn down.

Comfortable stay
We spent one night to rest before a long drive back home. Visited the area for Thanksgiving dinner with family.
Phyllis, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was nice. It was clean enough. The sheets smelled decent. We stayed one night, got ready for a religious meeting, and ate breakfast. It was nothing great but was very sufficient for our needs. I would definitely stay there again, especially for a beach or Chincoteague trip. Staff were delightful and very knowledgeable about the history and area
