The hotel is impossible to access, but I’ll get to that next. The worst part of this hotel is thinking you are staying at the airport for convenience which is anything but Convenient. It took me over an hour to get from my room to the TSA pre check line and the hotel is literally on top of the terminal. If you are flying in or out of that particular terminal! I would have missed my flight if it had not been delayed.
So that was leaving the hotel after a poor to mediocre stay. Now the horrible arrival experience. GPS says you have arrived at hotel while you’re in the middle of the airport terminal drop off lanes. After panicking, We pulled into a parking garage randomly, then happened to see a sign for their luggage drop. After following the signs to the top level of the parking structure, we used the designated phone to call for Bell service since there was nowhere to temporarily park our car. The phone did not work so we had to go back through the parking structure to find a spot, then lug our bags all the way up the ramps to the entrance, then all the way around the perimeter of the hotel to get to the check-in desk. Rudest staff woman if ever encountered. Although I rarely talk to staff these days with the contactless check in at most hotels. Which I now have a greater appreciation for! Once in room, no windows to the outside. Couldn’t get AC to work. Thinnest blanket on the bed which felt like sleeping under sheets only. The positive- you couldn’t hear the planes!
