Decent but Average, room for improvement
Decent stay but a little run down and outdated for amenities. Good walking distance from city centre. View from the window was good but the shower pressure was terrible.

The room we booked had fantastic views of the lake and mountains. Reception area was quite smart and impressive. The soft furnishings within the room had a fusty smell which was a let down. On day of departure we were repeatedly unable to enter our room after breakfast (before 0900) although we had made reception aware. Ben in the restaurant was very competent, helpful and friendly. Thanks for your hospitality.

The Copthorne is getting quite tired these days but the staff are excellent and you can’t ruin that wonderful view.
A bit of a tidy up and facelift and it would go back to being one of the very best in Queenstown

My room was in need of updating. The blackout curtains were old and torn. Wallpaper was starting to peel in places. Wifi would connect but not work at all. Bathroom was clearly recently renovated. Room needed similar updates. Hallways were not well insulated throughout the hotel and it was drafty. Views were stunning and very convenient to downtown Queenstown.
