However, I feel unhappy being reserved about my rating for room size. The hotel is so generally outstanding, so well appointed, I feel a bit grouchy, although I'm not. I am told by my colleagues in the business we're in to often be a "tough house."

We went for our 43rd Anniversary. XV Beacon staff could not have been more wonderful - the doorman, the desk clerk, the bartender, the wait staff, especially San Cler who served us breakfast both days. Each and every staff member falls into the "Plus" category - they were beyond gracious.
