The staff was friendly and helpful. Initially, they could not find my reservation as Expedia hadn't communicated it to them. They took the time to find my reservation, and were very patient and accommodating.

We didnt keep our room, driving up and seeing the condition of the location and area and the 3 liadies of the eveing leaving the establishment were enough for us to say no thank you!! We would rather sleep in our vehicle!!

Luv the front desk lady. She was very clear on everything and i believe due to her thats why this hotel hqs done q total 180 and in a very good way. loved how welcoming she was. She qlso had lots of patients due to our reservation not going right due to us. But she helped figure it all out and we enjoyed our stay. Loved the breakfast as well. Completely different staying there this time compared to what it was like 4 years ago. 100% better qnd would recommend this hotel to qnyone.

The hotel does not look great from the outside. The rooms are renovated, but the air conditioning does not work.

The price was reasonable but the place is in need of a make-over as its kind of run down. I had to wait for 15 minutes to get hot water in the shower.

Property is an older building and within walking distance of the Southbridge Mall and Hockey arena. Although the mall doesn't have much in it anymore. Parking lot was well lit at night and staff was helpful. Room was clean and ready for arrival, but it had a bit of a stale musty smell. Refrigerator and microwave in room worked fine. For the lower cost and just needing a place to crash at night it worked fine. If you want a place with more frills and amenities this would not fit that expectation.

The room was clean but the air conditioner was not working and on a day that was 89 degrees out it would have been nice to have it working. The outside appearance was not to pleasing, but the room was good.

If you go into your stay at this Econolodge with very low expectations you can be assured they will be met. During my weekend stay my room was without a smoke detector and the hot water was not hot only warm, no matter what time of the I tried it. The front desk was skilled at making excuses for problems that were evidently long standing.
