Kitchen…But not really.
The hotel is nice and has a basically a full kitchen with a full size fridge however there are no dishes or utensils whatsoever. So basically it’s quite silly. They’ll sell you a pan or spatula in the lobby. I suggested they allow guests to rent them out or something. I’ve never stayed at a place that offers a full kitchen but has no way to use it. The beds are so so. The pillows are comfy and the rooms are clean. The staff is very friendly. I just can’t get over the oddity of that kitchen situation. Parking is a breeze and there are tons of eateries right around the hotel.

Our initial encounter was with one of the most abrasive hotel receptionists ever. She was so unpleasant that it makes you wonder why she has a customer service job. The entire hotel reeks of cigarette smoke including the bedrooms which made it difficult to sleep. Their elevator smelled of puke. They could have sanitized it but didn’t. The beds and pillows were actually comfortable. But the bathrooms were not cleaned well. Even if a hotel is older, good customer service and cleanliness will make guests appreciate their stay. In this case, those key things were definitely a miss.

Convenient location. Good food options. Nice staff. Free drink coupon was nice surprise. Room cleanliness could be better. The pool wasn’t open.

We were In town for the Truckee Pro Rodeo as we would be vendors and would be really tired after each day and just needed a CLEAN COMFORTABLE room when getting in late each nite. The room was DEFINITELY not clean.we were booked into the South Tower, the room Smelled like feet , I could swear there were still 4 grown me still staying in the room. When I asked the woman at the front desk about a better room she stated I should have asked for the North tower?? How am I supposed to know that the SOUTH tower is dirty?? The only plus was the people at the tables were SUPER COOL -Sunny, Cheng as well as the other dealers and Tim the Pitt Boss. If it weren’t for them we would Not Be back there.

After calling and verifying that me cat would be welcomed, they refused to let me stay with him because he is furrier than normal. 10 hour drive from So California and bam .. too bad. No refund offered.

The pool was burning hot. The rooms and hallways smell like cigarette even though there are sign of do not smoke. The room was clean , bed was ok but overall not the type of hotel where you can relax. Its only for people who gamble and smoke
