First we arrived with early check in. Just before arriving, while in the Uber, a representative called me and told me that I would not be able to check in because my Expedia said 3 persons instead of 4. This was in inconvenient because I have updated with Sextant on at least 3 different occasions. The representative called back and cleared it up as we were arriving to the site. The entry to the building was nice and secure at the beginning. Entry to the room was easy as well. Entering the room was less than attractive. The room had a serious odor. Smelled like some type of cleaning agent mixed with mildew. The room had dust everywhere, floors cracked and looked like concrete with white paint overtop. Small couch, not what I saw online, no chairs at table, bed looked ok, kitchen was good. I call customer service immediately about the smell and dust and wanted to know my options about canceling. I was told housekeeping would be up within a few min. We waited but no one came. We decided to take a walk to get out the room with the hopes someone would come later. Needless to say no one ever did. Basically we sucked it up since most rooms for a reasonable price that week was sold out. I think we became accustomed to the smell and I wiped down some areas with dust and continuously swept and wiped down over the course of 6 days. There were ants in the kitchen which made it hard to leave out things like cereal boxes or chip bags. The window seals and windows were super dirty.
