rude
when i went to the bar /restaurant for hotel guests I found a mess on the tables (empty plates/glasses etc.) . The guy behind the bar stressed not knowing what he was doing. A big party was going on in the next room, and their party-goers were standing at the hotel bar to order nonstop drinks! I felt uncomfortable with rude comments from bar staff like: you need to stay in the queue or have to wait to get served! when a second staff member arrived he could not be bothered to help and started stuffing the fridges with drinks. with a big queue waiting I overheard him saying ....i don't give a s**t ! new hotel guests came with vouchers to the bar and they did not even know what to do with it ! i was a bit hungry but they also shut the kitchen before 9 pm and not 9.30 as it has been told on arrival at the hotel.why ? ........cause the chef walked in and says that he could not be bothered any longer and asked tho shut the kitchen and bar staff told him ...yeah that's fine. rude and swearing staff behind the bar with no training or experience in any way .!!! i heard many customers talking about their behavior and not being treated like hotel guests. It was embarrassing. i was angry and disappointed that I could not relax at the bar with a pint after a day's hard work so I checked out 5 hrs. after I checked in and booked another hotel for the night in the city . i stay in hotels all over the UK and eu for over 30 years but have never seen something like this ! WHAT A MESS !!!!
