Lovely hotel close to beach and activities. Staff very helpful. Valet parking, excellent food and service at the rooftop restaurant, lots of local eating places nearby. Very clean. Had a room with a comfortable bed and accessible bathroom. Very easy to obtain beach items at front desk for daily use (towels, chairs, coolers, bicycles).

The view is incredible. It's expensive but if you want to see the sunset in LA right from your room, this is the place to be. The rooftop bar was closed to a party so we were seated almost to the back, did not have the best experience. The neighborhood is mixed as expected for Venice.

Toilet ran - water constantly turning on and off - sound kept me up all night, especially since the bathroom has sliding, not latching, door. Hotel felt more like a 3 star. Shabby lobby, bad breakfast. It was ok but I had higher expectations after seeing pics, compared to seeing in person.

Let me make this super realistic for anyone looking to book: 1- Parking: parking was about $50-60 a day, it is NOT included in your already expensive stay. 2- Laundry: it is $8 or more to wash a SINGLE piece of clothing. Laundry is NOT included. 3- Cleaning: they cleaned our room one time for our four day trip. 4- the bathroom is open and not in a seperate closed room. Overall, we were not happy with our stay ALTHOUGH, THE ONLY PROS were that breakfast buffet was included in our stay, and that the beach was really only a 5minute walk from the hotel which was nice. Otherwise, like any stay in LA, it was overpriced and not worth the money.
