The room was very nice, Its a shame I was only there for one night. Breakfast could have had a bit more variety but was sufficient for me. A very pleasant experience and stay. I did dine at the attached restaurant for my evening meal but found it rather expensive.

Lovely place to stay easy access to York for the races then couple of days sightseeing Good restaurant for breakfast and evening meal both of which were very good standard (excellent omelette made by Chef for breakfast on second morning) staff were very friendly helpful and attentive nothing too much trouble. Room 30 was spacious clean and modern lovely big bed and super bathroom loved the fresh milk in the fridge for coffee, beautiful big window with fantastic views.

Love this hotel
Really enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff, very comfy bed, good powerful shower and excellent breakfast. Really liked the fresh milk in the mini bar for making tea/coffee. The only reason for not giving a full 5 stars was that the basin did not drain very well and there were a couple of areas in the room that were not 100% clean.
