This is one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed at in Ireland. I know I will be making a return visit soon. The restaurant was amazing. The staff at the hotel were so accommodating and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

I was told this is a brand new hotel, only about a year old, but it definitely shows some wear already. The room was clean and bed was comfy. This is a great hotel if youre looking for a quick stay. The staff was super nice and accomodating. The only issue was there were a bunch of dead ladybugs around the window, and in the morning one was flying around the room. The girl at the desk said they are aware of the issue and trying to find a solution. They are bred at a facility behind the hotel and so they come in through the ac units. Not a huge issue, but just a heads up so no one is surprised.

Fine for a Quick Overnight Stay

Check-in took longer than it should have as there was a computer issue and the receptionist was training someone. She spoke more to the trainee than she did us. Room was good for a quick "pull off the road and get a few zzz's" hotel. Very small but bed was comfy and room was clean enough. Biggest problem was the next morning, I took a cold shower. I would rather sleep on an uncomfortable bed than take a cold shower. When I brought it to the attendant's attention all I got was, "I'm sorry." Several positives in this review but a cold shower trumps them all. Would look for another hotel before trying Avid Hotels again.
