Worth the walk.

It’s modern and comfortable with excellent an staff It’s not in the downtown area, but that became more of a plus than minus for us. It’s about a twenty minute easy walk next to the canalto Tivoli Gardens and another 10/20 minutes to other popular attractions. The breakfast buffet was also excellent.

Fabulous service and a great harbor stay!

Very good experience here! On the last leg of our Copenhagen visit I fell down some stairs, leaving us unable to leave for the next stop of our holiday. Instead, we pivoted immediately to find a hotel with an elevator and views so I could have a decent time trying to heal. We arrived to a wheelchair waiting for us at check-in...very helpful. Our stay went as good as it possibly could have, all things considered. We stayed in a junior suite to take full advantage of the extensive views and separate living space. Positives: free use of a wheelchair, great views (esp fun to watch the harbor pool activities going on below), large room, great breakfast, tasty room service, extremely friendly and helpful service (they kindly brought ice up for my foot multiple times a day), mall right next door, extensive bike trails all around (they rent bikes on site, including those with the front bucket seat I could ride in to get outside while there) Negatives: the many windows of the junior suite provided fabulous views, but also served to warm up the room a lot. We found, however, that we could leave open our balcony and room door and keep the cool air flowing...as a result, it was definitely worth it to have the views. It was just a great stay, period. There was some construction noise with our doors open...as well as late night noise from partiers below at the pool one evening, but the positives outweighed. I highly recommend the hotel, and would definitely stay here again.

6/10 Good

Great but slightly disappointing

Hotel was in a beautiful location, we specially booked harbour view however wasn’t much of a view as we faced a massive office building. 5 mins to train station and metro so perfect for exploring. Room was nice but could be refreshed a bit more, the pillows were poor and woke up with sore necks. However, we didn’t ask for more or different pillows so that was on us. Breakfast was poor, bacon was just bacon bits and there was a lack of options in general compared to images we had seen, most was unseasoned too so fairly bland. For £570 for 4 nights we could have saved money and gone somewhere similar or paid a little more for a lot better quality. It’s great if you are just using it for somewhere to sleep,
Holly, 4-night trip

Okay, but uninspiring

The hotel seems pretty new and clean and well looked-after. It is quite big and the path to the room was quite a trek - the hallways are white, undecorated and narrow, and it gave me a feeling of going to my cabin on a ferry. The room itself was functional. I had a view over the harbour but, to be honest, that view isn't so amazing as there are just a lot of other big glass buildings everywhere as well as the water. The room was warm and stuffy and it didn't seem like the air conditioning made any difference - I moved it to 15 degrees, but the temperature stayed the same. Maybe it works to warm the room, but not to cool it. The worst thing was the pillows - thin and squashy, and provide no support. There was one other pillow in the wardrobe, which we used and that was slightly better. Breakfast was good, with a lot of choice. We left the hotel a night early in order to find a more comfortable and romantically-inspiring place. No huge complaints - just not great, and I won't stay there again.

Fantastisk

Reception er altid så sød overfor os. De er smilende, hjælpsom, dygtig og sød overfor min hund. Jeg er meget glad for at komme på Copenhagen Island og det betyder rigtig meget at de i receptionen er sød. Tusind tak for dem.
