Not open for business, yet they still charged me
The hotel was not able to check me in, because they did not have electricity, internet, the ability to process credit cards or any communication. Hotels.com refused to refund my money. The hotel has not answered any calls all week. Choice Hotels (the parent hotel company) sent me an email confirming I owed nothing and did not check in. However, I cannot get a refund.

The room our family stayed in had mold in the closet, and behind all of the doors, it seemed like there was a leak in the ceiling but we couldn’t find where it was coming from. When we stated concerns, we were brushed off. Even though we all ended up with headaches after staying here. Four people for five nights and there was only one roll of toilet paper. When we asked for another one, we were asked why?. We were hoping this could be our regular hotel since we plan on traveling this way fairly regularly but unfortunately, after being brushed off, and with the lack of cleanliness, we will have to stay elsewhere.
