We are low-maintenance travelers, but we had to check out after one night, and it seemed like the (incredibly kind) staff were used to this request. The hotel itself is nice, room well-appointed, but on one side there is an auto garage with garbage everywhere (including the roof, if you open a window) and on the other, there is a house with garbage everywhere, and multiple (loud) dogs chained up in deplorable conditions. There is a reason all of the windows are frosted.
The AC unit dripped on our pillows all night (wet spot on the mattress – this has been happening awhile), and we got 2 hours of sleep. 3-4 dogs barking, man on a loudspeaker until the early hours, and roosters next door began around 3-4am. There may have been a rodent inside the AC, chewing on the plastic – if you've ever been kept awake by a gnawing rodent, you know the sound.
The location seemed convenient on a map, but a 20min HOT walk into town, through broken glass/no sidewalk is not desirable on a stay as short as it should be in Valladolid. The abundance of stray dogs isn't a concern, and the people we encountered were friendly for the most part. There is a good supermarket not too far but Valladolid is not a big city. Just... pay a little more and stay in town instead.
