This is an older hotel that is trying really hard, and I appreciate it! Lovely white bedspreads, chocolate on our pillow, a nice tech strip by the bed sides, good window AC unit and a comfortable bed. I especially loved the location on Creston‘s cute Main Street. It was fun to take off on foot and explore the little shops, restaurants, and bakery.

I booked for the August Long weekend and there was a mixup in my reservation. Reid at the front desk was fantastic though and very kind. We sorted out an agreement and all was good. He definitely made up for the mistake. I would say the property is in need of a makeover which appears they have started on the outside. There was a weird smell in the room and my aunt and I came to the conclusion that its the air conditioners. But otherwise, I would stay there again. It was very clean and they had a great lounge area where they served coffee etc. The location is hard to beat! Right downtown.

The Uptowner is a lovely place to stay. The host has made every stay there very comfortable, helping with various special requests. Through the hotel is a bit older, it’s been renovated and the rooms are spotless. I’m very picky about cleanliness. The rooms have nice little extras you’ll enjoy. Don’t hesitate to try it out!

The hotel is clearly getting a face lift. The inner sitting area was nice so our whole group coukmld relax together. Tge ved was squeky, lighting was pior, too many extebtion cords and no where to charge phones etc. The bathroom had been updated but there was no soap in the shower. The dispenser was by the sink . You need another one in the shower. Very pleasant staff

We stayed in an animal friendly room and there was a metal flooring transition strip that was bent up and very sharp which I cut my foot on. We had to take care the dogs did not have the same issue. I realize that there is limited parking although we had a large white truck parked sideways to our window looking right in at our window level so we had to put up blankets otherwise we could not use the air conditioning without losing our privacy.

Clean, convenient spot to stay in Creston. Nice upgrades with the renos, the rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy, comfy beds (the pillows I had were pretty smashed flat but there were spares in the room). Toiletries in the washroom were a little lacking; there was hand soap in a sink dispenser and bottles of shampoo/conditioner in the shower but no soap/body wash for the shower or body lotion. Coffee/tea/hot chocolate was available in the morning in the common area. Overall, will stay again when in the area.
