チェックインの際、ホスピタリティの視点からかもしれないけど無駄な挨拶と話が多い。お陰でチェックインカウンターは長蛇の列。おまけに対応するデスクは３つだけでチェックインするのに30分かかりました。ホテルは新しい開発エリアにあり繁華街から離れているのにホテル内にはコンビニ的なショップはなく車で街まで行くハメに…。極め付けはディナーでアレルギーについて詳しく聞いてきたにも関わらず、アレルギー食品が盛られてきた。人手不足な中でオープンした背景があると思うが、スタッフのトレーニング不足を肌で感じることがしばしばありました。国内や世界各地のヒルトンホテルブランドの中では最も残念なレベルでした。

初めて宮古島に旅行に行きました。こちらは空港からもアクセスがよいので少しお高めですが利用させていただきました。宿泊のお部屋は7階のオーシャンヴュー。チェックイン時に伊良部大橋が見える側のオーシャンヴューに変更可能との事で追加料金は必要でしたがお部屋を変更していただけました。同じオーシャンヴューでも伊良部大橋がしっかり見えるお部屋があるのを知らなかったので提案していただいて良かったです。7階のラウンジからも伊良部大橋を眺めながら飲み物や軽食などいただけたり、朝食もそちらでいただくことができ、時間を有効に使えたので滞在中は有意義に過ごすことができました。水周りも清潔でしたしスタッフの方も親切にしてくださいますので居心地が良かったです。
