The room was clean and comfortable but the doors were drafty and light came through sides and bottom. The plastic drapes did not block any of the bright light right outside my window. The only light around a darker vanity was a standing lamp with a shade that didn't allow light to the top of the mirror. The updates that they have done are good-new carpet and paint and the bed was actually very comfortable. Because of limited staff the 'free breakfast' did not start until 7am, which I missed because my departure needed to be earlier.

Wheatland steam boat inn
Well to start off can't beat the price, for $50 it's quite nice, there's an Arby's and bowling right next door. Now for the issues, their wifi doesn't work, the room has a hole in the corner and I can see the bottom room, the bathroom door doesn't close, there's no one in the front desk, they have a number to call if you need anything but they don't answer.
