Overall, good stay. A bit of problem in the bathroom since the shower water overflows out from under the glass. Sink is too low. There were some water leaking in the toilet.

Excellent stay at Citadines Roces Quezon City. The room is clean and new. And as a hotel at the same time a service apartment is a great experience and very convenient for those who like a long staycation. Their staff are friendly and a breakfast buffet is really good. And as a furparent a sweet stay with my pet is a big point in us. Off course lets also do our part to be a responsible pet owner, follow the rules of the hotel and be considerate for others because Citadines open their door as a pet friendly hotel so we have to appreciate in both ways. Highly recommended for those near in QC area.

Located outside the tourist areas in a clean, safe neighborhood that I enjoyed walking through. Calling a Grab was easy and sometimes available before I could get to the ground floor. Several major malls within a 30 minute walk or 10 - 15 minute Grab ride (due to traffic in those areas). Rooms were decent sized though cost possibly a little higher than what might be expected for Philippines. Showers were always hot and service in the hotel very responsive. Many restaurants available for delivery throughout the night. 24 hour gym was great value with professional equipment and decent assortment of dumbbells. On site laundry was nice too though only accessible til 10 pm and required staff to start the wash / dry cycles. I stayed in a variety of rooms and floors for about 1 month here. Overall I think its a good base for exploring the greater Manilla area without being trapped in a high traffic zone or a noisy area with high foot traffic. Only 2 criticism is the internet speed and elevators. 2 of the three elevators are for guests. However, they are quite small and a bit slow. During the day it can take excess of 10 minutes just to get to the ground floor from any other floor. Also internet through stay was quite slow at speeds of ~10 - 20 Mbps if I recall. High enough for normal browsing but sometimes not sufficient for streaming services.
Behind the camera is the Gym with air conditioning. Access via hotel card. Straight ahead and to the right is the pool area. To the right of that is the reception indoors on the 8th floor.
Laundry room on the 8th floor just around from the elevators and reception area.

Best Budget-Friendly Hotels in QC.
Room smells and feels neat. We spent our nights peacefully. Staffs were friendly too! Food is great too for its price. We enjoyed our stay! One of the best, yet cheap, hotels we have been to.

Brand new hotel with amazing experience
The hotel just opened and brand new. Excellent facility. Clean, comfortable and accessible to major roads in Quezon City. Hotel staff is friendly, responsive and helpful. Recommend staying here as it is very reasonably priced.

Property was well kept. Room was clean and comfy. Although, abit disappointed as we requested for airport pickup and even sent our flight details but no one was around to pick us up. Not as responsive as Somerset Alabang team where I stayed previously.

Nice area, beautiful views, staffs are very professional and friendly. The property is very clean! I hope you catch the rat that is running around the parking garage, before it damage anything in the property, it’s on the 5th level!

NOT PET FRIENDLY! Do not be deceived
The property is suppose to be pet friendly. I called 2 hours in advance of arrival to make sure it was and was confirmed by someone from I spoke to from Reception. She said it was pet friendly and that I had to pay 1,500 fee for the pet. Upon arrival with our dog, we were told that the room we booked was NOT pet friendly. We booked their most expensive 2 bedroom apartment at that. They also told us that the fee was 3,000 and not 1,500 as I was told earlier on the phone. They also asked as for our pets vaccination card which was not specified as a requirement. Of course we didnt have it because I did not know it was required. I asked to speak to a Manager who said we would be allowed to bring our pet and he waived the pet fee. Aditionally, we arrived a little after check-in time of 2pm but was told it was still being cleaned. We waited for 2 hours! and only allowed to check in at 4pm. For a hotel that advertises itself as pet friendly, their only restaurant, a coffee shop for breakfast, WAS NOT friendly. There is no outdoor space which is typical to be seated at if you have a pet. So even though our breakfast was paid for, we decided not to eat and checked out at 6:30am. I WILL NEVER go back or recommend this place to anyone.

4/10 Fair

Surrounding area is deplorable. Gas station on one side and neighboring tire shop and hardware store make for noisy area when there is not the sound of hammering or construction going on somewhere. Room service food items are from a list of limited choices. Breakfast available daily but be ready to fight off flies. Early morning transportation is the worse. Plan ahead. Taxis hardly ever drive by and when they do are never available. I booked a grab driver and they never moved from their location after accepting the ride. Very difficult.

Worst receptionist for Ascot group of hotels/
Vannie from reception could be thoughful when giving information to their guests. I am particular with the use of words and facial appearance since I am a frontliner and deal with people all day. I booked 3 rooms in Citadines thru Hotels.com around 1pm and arrived in the building between 4:30- 5pm on the same day. Me: Hello, we are here to check-in. Vannie (reception): Welcome. Ah since it’s a last minute booking the rooms are not yet ready. Actually (looking on her monitor), two rooms are ready but the third room is still being cleaned. Me: It’s okay. Can we check in now and get some rest while waiting for the other room? Just give us a call when it’s ready. And the conversation continued until we were checked in. I could not help but not to be pleasant with her during the time. I was annoyed right away when she used the words “because it was a last minute booking…” Does it matter if it was booked on the same day? Vannie could be nicer with her words. My impression was we were being blamed that it was a last minute booking. Their check-out policy is 12noon or latest 1pm. They had plenty of time to clean before we arrived. My point is how she said things. Not a single word to apologise for the delay with the third room. Her facial expression could not hide her thoughts. She was all smile but ironic with her words. And yes, during our check-out the following day she was at the reception again. Quite a sarcasm with her facial expression.
