Best location in Old Saybrook for comfort & price
The staff was very helpful and accommodating during our stay. It's 10 minutes from downtown which was convenient for us to visit family. The rooms are as expected in a motel but the beds are comfortable for a no frills stay. It really is the best option for Old Saybrook for reasonable price. It is right off I-95 but the double paned windows they put in keep the highway noise low. I couldn't hear it at night. I highly recommend the Liberty Inn.

Hotel is pretty old and that can be felt when looking in the rooms, there is some smell. Also, the highway is about 50 metres away with no sound protection. The advertised breakfast is not available in winter w/o compensation. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable.

Asked for ground level room but did not get one, even though they were empty the night we were there. No breakfast through the week. Right next to a highway so heard traffic all night
