Settlers deserves nothing other that a 5* rating. If you go to Hanmer Springs don’t even bother looking at any other accommodation - choose Settlers every time. From the fantastic and personal welcome by Brett thru to the beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean suite and all the thoughtful touches (sticking plasters, hot water bottle and extension cable), Settlers is perfect. Excellent accommodation, very pleasing to the eye and close to everything in Hanmer Springs. Pleasant staff gave a warm welcome to us on arrival, showed us our unit and had the heatpump working, making a nice warm welcome on a very cool day. Everything was close for a nice meal out & on hand for a meal in on the 2nd night.

Only there for one night sadly but we found this to be a lovely, comfortable, quiet motel. Little extras like fresh milk and chocolates are very welcome. Everything shows signs of care and consideration. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
