Vulgar manager treats customers like rubbish.
Pretty vulgar manager. He wanted to charge us twice because he couldn't find the booking we made through The guy was vulgar with us, swearing and blaming the platform, complaining he didn't receive any money out of it, despite I was showing him the booking and the charges on our bank account. Worse customer experience ever.

Vulgar manager
The manager of that place was rude, vulgar. He wanted to charge us twice because he could not find the booking we made through, saying he didn't receive any money from it, despite I was showing him the booking confirmation and the charge on our bank account. Pretty bad experience.

Not really up to scratch
This stay was not great. It appeared that staff had completely forgotten to clean the bathroom as the previous occupants toiletries were still in evidence on the shower floor. Black mould around the shower. No working light in the bathroom… the list goes on. We wouldn’t stay here again.

First floor Double room was accessed by a well-worn staircase with grubby carpet, upstairs from pub & gaming-room. Room was adequate for our needs. Price is very reasonable. Great location. Have to park car on street. Stayed a Saturday night and was awakened at frequent intervals by drunken revellers on the street below. Wld recommend for a one-night stay.

10/10 Exceptional

Probably the best value accommodation I've ever stayed in. Single room is compact which means you can get it nice and toasty on a cool winter night. Bed is comfortable, you get a full-sized fridge, plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate, decent sized flat screen TV, good shower in the en-suite and a nice, friendly welcome. Not to mention it's smack in the middle of town for convenience with loads of on-street parking right at the door. Absolutely perfect for the solo traveler.

10/10 Exceptional

The people were friendly. Gave us an off street park so our bike were safe. The room was basic but clean, comfortable bed and really warm. The room was serviced on the second day which was unexpected but lovely to have clean towels. Excellent location in the middle of town. Not flash but great value and I would certainly recommend it. We enjoyed our stay

Okay stay, room for improvement
Lady who checked us in was lovely. Room was a good size but there was food left in fridge, one of the hand towels was dirty and a horrible stain on the carpet plus unnecessary clutter in the room. Bed was only a double and lumpy mattress, with queen bed and a tidy up it would be great value
