The location of this apartment was amazing. We stayed in the Roma suite. Right in the middle of the old town and a short walk from most of the key attractions. It’s located above one of the main piazzas of the city and surrounded by amazing restaurants and wine bars but not too noisy or busy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The apartment is in a classic Italian style, traditionally furnished, classical paintings on the ceilings, chandeliers, marble fireplaces etc. all incredibly grand and impressive. The highlight though was the balcony. Huge, well furnished and helpfully quite private, and surrounded by a wonderful backdrop of historic buildings around the piazza. Great place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. I would definitely stay here again and I’d have no hesitation recommending it to others. I’ve marked it down one star because I felt bits of the apartment seemed a little bit knocked about. The walls and furniture of the porch as you entered were a little scruffy and some of the furnishings were the same - the work tops in the kitchen were damaged and the bed side tables although beautiful had similar damage. The wall in the kitchen behind the coffee machine also looked like it needed repainting etc, and the sink unit in the bathroom looked like it had seen better days. None of these were major things but I felt for a high end booking were noticeable enough to probably warrant some maintenance and attention.
However I would definitely recommend.
