Kelo-Glass Igloo was fantastic!
Fantastic resort! Only one restaurant was open and the food wasn’t great (it was fine, just not great) but everything else made up for it. We stayed in a lovely Kelo-Glass igloo and absolutely loved it. The activities were fun—best were snowmobile, dog sledding and feeding the reindeer.

It was a great experience staying in there in the arctic. We did see the northern lights from the igloo. The staff and the facilities were just amazing. The food is great too. I highly recommend this place.

Had a great stay at the kelo igloo. Glas we chose this for our stay and a great holiday here. Seen the aurora on our first day and appreciate the alarm in cabin and also on the mobile app.
Sauna is great too.
Staffs are super helpful too.

The staff was incredible. The stay was overall good, the resort is beautiful, though for the price, I expected more. The food left a lot to be desired.

Outstanding and memorable stay. Great adventures, northern lights and family fun. Food options were limited, especially for dinner and the service ended at 9pm, which didn’t work when we were out on a husky adventure and missed out. BUT, the husky adventure was AMAZING! Overall, an incredible stay!

What a magical experience.. we love the East village,, it’s quiet and the staff are super friendly and helpful.. from beginning to end we were satisfied with the service, food in the dining area, the bell boy service.. the excursions are in the west side but we love East side more.. we saw the Aurora 3 nights of our 4 nights stay .. and yes their aurora alarm works.. we came here not for the convenience but for the REAL igloo experience and we are glad we did it.. thank you,, our winter vacation was perfect

Serene Arctic Escape
An excellent resort with beautiful, cozy cottages that keep you warm even in extreme temperatures as low as -30°C. The entire experience was very well organized, and the in-room firewood setup is a must-try for a charming and authentic touch.
The food is thoughtfully curated, with great consideration for vegetarians, which was a pleasant surprise.
Do note that the resort is in the middle of nowhere, offering unparalleled tranquility — but that also means you should carry some snacks for your room. Stepping out in harsh weather conditions requires caution. Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommended for anyone seeking a serene Arctic escape!

Best Hotel in Finland
We stayed at the Kelo of West Village and it is very clean and cozy where you have your own sauna, bathroom, kitchen and of course the signature igloo. Staff are very helpful and we’ve also met the owner who’s very friendly and welcoming. We’ve stayed 5 nights and 3 nights with eye-visible northern lights. Oh and I have to mention, dinner is surprisingly delicious!!!

Stay on the west side!
When we arrived we found that we had booked the east side igloos that have to shower facilities & a long walk through the snow to get to a shared shower room. This was not what we were expecting for such expensive accommodation!
Luckily we got help from a great guy named Anastasios who got us into the west side of the property with an upgrade to an igloo with great facilities, where we saw the northern lights!
Thank you so much Anastasios for saving our bucket list trip from being a disaster!
You have great understanding & very helpful customer service skills!
The resort is much better in the west side…east side I would rate not much higher than back packer accommodation at a ridiculous price!
The food could be better too for the price!

No accommodating at all. No shower in the igloos. We have to walk so much to find the shower cabin in a negative degree weather. Then there were no signs to follow the route. The cancelled one of plans Husky last minute and did not really accommodate us with any other option. We wasted our whole day and a lot of time staying at this place.

My fiancé and I just stayed one night in one of the West Village igloos and we couldn’t have been happier. From start to finish everything was absolutely incredible! The ladies in reception were lovely, and extremely helpful and informative. The igloo exceeded all of our expectations. After reading a number of reviews with negatives, I have to say I couldn’t possibly disagree more. It’s enchanting. The workers are friendly. The food was fantastic. The igloo clean and so unique!! It was a once in a lifetime experience that I hope to do again.

West village is really a beautiful and extraordinary place. The entire property is wonderful. East village has a different character. It’s also charming but not as grand and open space as the west village. The igloos in the west village are gorgeous. If you want to see the northern lights, it’s highly recommended to stay in an igloo. We also stayed in a chalet but had to come out to check the northern lights. Unfortunately, the northern lights tracker in our room didn’t go off when northern lights appeared but saw it when you look up to the sky in the igloo.

Property is great. I stayed in the East Village and frequently took the free shuttle at the front desk to the west village. The staff was very courteous and professional. Walking around the snow covered property was like a Disney movie. The food was not bad. Sometimes I did not like their meat options from their regular menu so I ate from the Indian menu and that was always good. Many vegetarian options. The only disappointment was that there is not much entertainment at night after 8PM. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property. Here are some suggestions before you go: Bring a flash light that fits in your pocket, bring head scarf and winter hat and ski pants. Private Taxi transfer from airport to hotel was $95 euros in January 2025. Rent a regular room and only stay at Igloo for the last night. East village is beautiful and less populated.
