I would first like to say that every person we came in contact with was kind and accommodating. None of the employees are responsible for how old and outdated these rooms are. However, housekeeping is in these rooms and could definitely do a better job. The panels on the doors are filthy, as well as the doors themselves. The Flat Stove Tops need a good scrub to remove the caked on dirt. The counter-top surfaces were clean, but the walls & cabinets were not. The rooms are old and outdated. Dark colors, heavy curtains and dark heavy furniture. The floors in the kitchen area were moving as we walked on them. The carpeting was worn out and filthy. The walls had all kinds of spots and stains on them. Underneath the sink was filthy and smelled like roach killer. The coffee pot was absolutely disgusting, and the toaster was filled with crumbs. We put all dishes in dishwasher upon arrival before using. Mirrors were hazy/dirty. Elevator had crumbs in it for our entire 7 day/6 night stay. Tried to go in the pool, that was supposed to be heated...and it was freezing cold. Had to call down for towels, and I asked them to put the heat on in the pool. 2 days later, the pool was still cold.
Breakfast choices were really poor, and they keep blaming COVID. I will not be staying here again. I would have left after the first night, but could get no other room during this holiday time. I have pictures to support all of this, if Marriott is interested.
