If you’re going to censor my comments below, which are factual and truthful; in favour of the hotel, then it’s clear to me where your priorities lie and you’re not interested in your users/customers experiences.
This, and the huge change to your Rewards Program, is going to have a negative impact in the way I use your service going forward.
Take a look at my account, and my past and future bookings. Do you really want to lose my business? I use hotels every single week, but I’m happy to go elsewhere to book.
You need to remember, there are other hotel booking services out there that are either on a par, or better than yours.

I've heard of hotels charging a supplement for a single use occupancy of a double-room, but I've never been charged a supplement for having 2 people stay in a room. Specifically when that room is designed for 2 people to stay in!
Ludicrous and another scam.
Probably won't use this hotel (or chain) again.
