A little slice of heaven
I really loved this place. The staff and owners were wonderful and gave us a personal tour of the place and got to see and get some good photos of the resident buffalo. The cabin was clean and spacious. Our neighbors were great.

The cabins are cozy and nice. Tipis are a little too spartan, far from bathrooms and very cold ( no heat) when I stayed (41 degrees at night). Staff pleasant.

Host was very nice. We thought we were renting a cabin. Turned out to be a bedroom with shared bathroom with other guest in the owners home. Little awkward for my liking.

The ranch itself was great. Information says there is breakfast. We got up at 07.00 am because we had a long travel day ahead and there was no one to be found (the owners or staff). At 07.30/07.45 am we left without any breakfast or the opportunity to check out.

We could not have had a better experience. Lonesome Dove is the real West, right now. Simple and extremely comfortable, in every way. We loved the owner and staff - especially Natasha the buffalo!
