It just could use some elbow grease. The sliding door threshold looked like it had never been cleaned. The grills had not been cleaned in heaven knows how long, the deck furniture was dirty, understandable with the recent ash from surrounding fires. But does not excuse a dirty ash tray. However, the receptionist was pleasant, and the deck was nice to have. For the price it was okay.

Staff was great. Room did not have air conditioning. It was very hot when I was there.

Our 1 night stay was fine. Staff were really nice. Know that people are allowed to smoke on their balcony. As balconies are adjoined and only separated by trellis, if your neighbour smokes, you will inhale their smoke and it will get into your room if your patio door is open.

Guess it's my fault for not checking to make sure they had air conditioning but I felt that was a standard at every other hotel. Needless to say it was an extremely hot and stuffy night, broken sleep, and very uncomfortable

Nice older rutic motel. Some updating. The lakeside units have nice views & are quiet. They roadside units don't have views & have highway noise. Some units do not have air conditioning.

It might be worth booking early and paying an extra $20 to get a kitchenette and a cabin on the lake. But the regular cabins in the front are fine. One thing to note at the height of summer is the apparent lack of air conditioning other than a fan by the window.

Dreadful
I had a nice welcome from the desk at 8.00 pm whom then promptly closed whilst handing me my key to the room. The location is lovely overlooking the lake and the room is large and spacious with a big patio. If in good condition this would have been a lovely stay. The cleaner tried to make it nice, and the room had been vacuumed and dusted and sheets were clean....BUT.... the room smelled so bad I had to buy deodorisers to spray all over to make it remotely bearable, one bed smelt of urine, the TV wouldn't work, there was no internet password, the beds were made of plywood with some fabric over them I am sure, you could not sleep comfortably at all, the sink in the bathroom was broken, and then the shower didn't even deliver any water. I called the desk/operator but no answer. I then complained to the desk as soon as they opened at 8.00 am , and I am still waiting for the manager to call me. Disgusting, this is the 2nd worse hotel I have stayed in during my lifetime. And I paid a competitive price for the room.
