A Wonderful Experience
It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful old building. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. It is an easy walk to the main tourist attractions and there are many lovely small restaurants within a five minute walk from the hotel. We were delighted with our decision to stay here.

I found it odd that on their social media they promote the garden setting but what you realize when you arrive is this is someone’s house and their garden. You are not allowed to walk around. This hotel is delightfully quirky. It is in an old florentine building with a beautiful staircase, high ceilings, a beautiful wrap around balcony overlooking acres of manicured gardens. Our room had midcentury modern furniture, all very comfortable and a beautiful modern bathroom. There was quirky artwork and fixtures. Efficient and charming. The breakfasts were fantastic! I can’t say enough good things about this hotel!

AdAstra is a totally unique property in an excellent location in Florence. We much preferred being in this quiet neighborhood that’s still super close to all the main sites in the city.
